Live Virtual Instruction Begins Tuesday, January 4

Thank you for bouncing back and rolling with the changes to virtual instruction as we begin the new year. Your child's teachers should be reaching out with information tomorrow morning via Google Classroom.

Daily Live Virtual Instruction Schedule for K-8 Students

Our daily schedule for all students will be from 8:30am - 2:45pm every school day while on remote.  Please see a daily schedule template below that you can fill out to help your child stay on track as we do live instruction. Your child's teacher should be able to provide you with what you need to fill this out.

Please note:

Pre-K Students

Your teachers should have already reached out to you regarding what daily schedule should look like for your child. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to your child's teacher.

Chromebook Agreement

Below is the agreement if you'd like to pre-fill it.

Many of you still have Chromebooks from last year, so if it is still working, please use that for this week.

If you need a chrome book because you are new to the Jersey City Public Schools (you were not in the district last year) then get a Chromebook by coming to the building any day from 9 AM through 1:30 PM.

If you have a damaged Chromebook (broken or inoperable) that you need to trade in, please make sure that you return the Chromebook that is damaged or not working and its power cord in order to trade in another. There may be a replacement fee. If you have questions, please reach out to Mr. Cabrera at scabrera@jcboe.org.

We ask that if you have questions or concerns, you direct them to your child’s teacher first and then, as always, feel free to reach out to Mr. Cabrera, myself, or the main office.
